In 2025, our team visited BAU Munich, one of the most influential trade fairs for architecture, construction technologies, and building materials worldwide. For us at SK Architects, it was an invaluable opportunity to experience the latest innovations in construction, discover advanced materials, and evaluate new solutions that could be applied directly to our projects. The fair brought together global leaders in the field, presenting a rich spectrum of ideas—from digital design tools to sustainable construction methods—that are shaping the future of architecture.
Among the most impressive highlights were the advancements in solar energy façade systems. Integrating energy production seamlessly into architectural design, these solutions demonstrated how buildings can evolve into self-sufficient and environmentally responsible structures. Equally striking were the developments in glass façade technologies, which not only achieved higher levels of energy efficiency but also offered remarkable design flexibility, transparency, and aesthetic quality. The aluminium sector was another area of innovation, showcasing versatile applications that combined durability, lightweight performance, and architectural elegance.
