Salone del Mobile Milano, 2016
In 2016, our team visited Salone del Mobile Milano, a landmark event that showcased the latest innovations and trends in design. That year, the fair strongly emphasized the role of technology in shaping interiors, with a particular spotlight on kitchen design. We were especially inspired by the creative use of advanced mechanisms, smart storage systems, and pioneering material applications. One of the highlights was the introduction of nano-technology surfaces—materials engineered at a microscopic scale to offer exceptional durability, resistance to scratches, and even self-healing properties. Their matte finishes, ease of cleaning, and tactile comfort gave us new ideas about how kitchens could be transformed into both highly functional and elegant spaces.
Engaging with leading international brands such as Poliform, B&B Italia, Minotti, Kartell, and Moroso, we experienced first-hand how innovation is reshaping contemporary living. The 2016 edition of Salone del Mobile left us deeply impressed by the way everyday spaces, especially kitchens, were being reimagined through technology and design creativity. This visit became a turning point for us, inspiring new approaches in our own projects and strengthening our commitment to integrating advanced materials and intelligent solutions into modern life.
