Situated in the heart of Kyrenia on a uniquely shaped triangular plot, The Triangle Sports Hub is a bold and iconic four-story sports cafe concept designed to serve as a social and entertainment focal point in the city. With a striking modern form, the building showcases an exposed steel structure combined with a dramatic spider-glass facade blurring the line between industrial elegance and high-function architecture. One of the project’s defining features is the ability to span wide structural openings, reaching up to 8 meters across, enabling expansive, open interior spaces. These are further enhanced by the floor-to-ceiling glass facade that creates a strong visual and spatial connection with the adjacent main road. The ground level is sunken to create a cozy yet vibrant bar and lounge space inspired by the atmosphere of NBA arenas. Central to the design is a custom-designed, double-height four-sided suspended screen above the bar, echoing the energy of professional basketball stadiums and allowing live broadcasts of all major sporting events.

The interior layout is arranged with purposeful vertical layering and gallery spaces. The ground and first floors are visually and spatially connected via an internal void, enriching the spatial experience. Entertainment continues across the second floor, featuring darts, snooker, chess zones, and additional bar areas. The third floor transitions into a full-scale dining and cafe space, while the rooftop crowns the project with an open-air cinema and sky bar equipped with a massive digital screen for communal viewing under the stars.

Designed with multifunctionality in mind, the architecture of the building is not only visually compelling but also highly interactive. Cantilevered steel forms and external volumes are used both structurally and sculpturally, with raw steel left intentionally exposed as a bold architectural language. With approximately 1,000 m² of enclosed area, The Triangle Sports Hub sets a new standard for urban sports entertainment in Kyrenia uniting modern architectural expression with dynamic, layered public engagement.
