Mobina Shafiei - Junior Architect
Mobina was born on July 13, 2000, in Tehran, Iran. Growing up in a culturally rich and dynamic city, she developed an early sensitivity to space, form, and the human experience within architecture. Her architectural journey began at 14 with her first design course in high school. Motivated by early success—including second prize at the Tebyan Student Awards for residential design and modeling—she transferred to an architecture-focused high school, where she earned her diploma and set her sights on a professional career in architecture.
In 2018, she moved to Cyprus to study at Eastern Mediterranean University, graduating in 2022. Soon after, she began working on a range of projects across Northern Cyprus, including residential, commercial, and private developments. Her experience also reached beyond borders, with a completed interior design project in South Australia.
By 2022, her talent was recognized with two nominations at the Golden Trezzini Awards: Best Residential Estate Project and Best Architectural Design for a Museum. Since 2023, she has been part of several award-winning projects at SK Architects, acknowledged by the International Architecture & Design Community. In addition to her creative strengths, Mobina is a technically skilled designer who handles detailed architectural drawings and continues to develop her expertise—particularly in the field of interior architecture. She combines precision with artistic vision, bridging the gap between technical execution and emotional impact.
Mobina draws inspiration from everyday moments and believes in blending structure with emotion, color with concept, and technique with atmosphere. This holistic approach gives depth to her creative process and defines her architectural perspective.
